Unique Support and Transportation Service LLC was borne out of the experiences obtained in an assisted living facility (ALF) as the Director of Memory Care in May 2018. It was observed that some of the caregivers did not possess the relevant skill set and hands-on training to care for the residents effectively. Such training is necessary for their success and should be obtained at the orientation stages of employment to maneuver the day-to-day challenges in the department effectively. Those observations ignited the desire to fulfill the dream of becoming an educator and training consultant with over 18 years of continuous training, coaching, and mentoring of staff entrusted with caring for those affected by dementia, mental health, and physical disabilities.

Other career experiences have resulted in forging excellent relationships with families, patients, and caregivers in healthcare and mental health organizations in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. These functions were practiced mainly as a Recruiter, Life Enrichment Manager, Group Home and mental health in-patient, out-patient, Case Manager, and Regional Director for a mental health agency that provides services with physically and intellectually disabilities (IDD) in Savannah, GA.

It is hoped that Unique Support and Transportation Services  will be given opportunities to serve department leaders, families, communities, and caregivers in healthcare and mental health organizations and continue to deliver the necessary tools for success.
